Venmo is a financial product created to help friends and family to do personal payments, split bills, or pay small businesses. In the latest years and with almost 76 million users, services like the Venmo
Credit Card, the Venmo Debit Card, the Crypto the popularity of this product has grown, making it one of the best financial apps in the USA.

The goal
Create additional features​ that cover the needs of the users that are not using Venmo at the moment, with modern solutions that create better communities.

My role
Being part of the Design Team as a product designer, supported by Project Managers that guide us to create innovative products and features for the app, considering the business requirements, implementation effort, and following all the style guide lineaments.


Venmo Teen Account
I partnered with a multidisciplinary team to design Venmo’s Teen Account for users aged 13–17, focusing on business goals supported by benchmarks, user flows, high-fidelity wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

Key metrics & impact
Venmo estimated 9 million teens were already using the platform unofficially, representing a potential 25 million new customers once fully launched.

These insights guided our design strategy—embedding parental controls, seamless teen flows, and educational affordances. The result was a product grounded in user needs, business goals, and real-world behavior.
